Urban OKC Engagement Session

I love a good love story, and Camryn and Jacob’s is just that. The two of them met in high school when Camryn and Jacob’s sister started hanging out. Through their friendship, Camryn and Jacob began to get to know one another, and eventually started dating. Eight years later, and here they are! Engaged. Jacob proposed to Camryn at Esperanza Ranch with a luxury picnic and big marquee letters asking the big question. I was so excited to get to know these two and photograph their urban OKC engagement session.

Camryn’s vision for her engagement photos was very urban, so where better to start than Downtown OKC?! I met up with the pair in the heart of downtown as we started their engagement session. It was a wild time downtown as we kept dodging flying cars (and even flying objects off the roof)! Our next stop was the Colcord Hotel, where we took some portraits under the beautifully lined lights. Camryn’s hot pink romper, along with her hot pink nails, vibrantly stood out. We even, coincidentally, ran in to some friends (Camryn and Jacob ran into their friends that were being photographed by one of my friends)! Finally, we finished off their session with a sunset on the rooftop of a parking garage. I was just in love with Camryn’s bridal look for the engagement session – glasses, white dress, and a veil.

I loved hanging out with Camryn and Jacob the evening of their engagement session. I quickly learned that it is Jacob that is the life of the party, and that was evident by the hour and a half of laughter we all shared with each other. I can’t wait for their wedding at The Civic Center!
