As a photographer, there are many things I love about weddings. For starters, it brings me so much joy to be able to witness the incredible love story of each and every one of my couples. I love learning about how they met, how they got engaged, and all of the little stories along the way. It always takes me back to my own wedding day and the love I felt that day. Not only that, but I love to be able to capture the most important parts of your day. From the tiny details to the moment you share your first dance – they are all so special to me because they tell the story of your day. One thing that MLP takes pride in, though, is being able to capture the various candids throughout your big day.
The candids of your day tell the story in a special way. They help to show a visual of the raw emotion that was felt from you and your guests. The candids are the ones that capture the laughter, the tears, and everything in between. First looks, toasts, and the reception are where a lot of the best candids will come from. However, there is emotion all throughout the day, and I’m there to capture all of it!
Jack playing with one of the little guests during toasts. One of Taylor’s bridesmaids caught the bouquet. She did a victory lap and ended it with a hug from the bride! Baylee and Ben’s wedding party took a break from the reception to prank them by chalking their car, and wrapping it in saran wrap. Kristin’s sister ending her toast with a hug from the bride. Kristin surprised everyone by changing up the music at the end of her father/daughter dance. Cassidy and her father danced their hearts out together on the dance floor. Right before Cassidy and Austin’s ceremony, it started to rain. All of the guests joined together to get the space ready for them, and shared umbrellas. Tyler viewing his gift from his bride.
