When Paige found me on Instagram, I knew almost right away that she and Chester were a perfect match for me. The two of them are adventurous, they love animals, and they’re getting married in SE Oklahoma – one of my favorite places to be.
Chester impressed Paige immediately with their first date. The pair went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant and rode go carts in the cold. The date stuck out to Paige; it was different from any other date she had been on. With the first part of their relationship being long distance, Paige and Chester have been together two years. Throughout the two years of their relationship, the pair have been on many adventures together, including traveling the states and diving the Blue Hole in Belize (how cool is that?!).
Most ladies have a gut feeling when their guy is going to propose. Paige thought that, while in the Grand Canyon, Chester was going to pop the question. However, when they left the Grand Canyon still dating, she was sure it wouldn’t be for a while. Chester, on the other hand, was plotting a romantic and personal proposal. While on a hike close to his family’s land in SE Oklahoma, Paige walked around a large rock to see Chester on one knee, ring in hand. The rest is history.
We took their engagement portraits on Paige’s dad’s property. The whimsical trees and scattered wildflowers amazed me as soon as I drove onto the gravel road. We wandered in the wheat field and got some romantic portraits with some trees; all ending with sunset photos at the family pond.
Next stop, the wedding in Talihina! I am so excited to document their most special day, with an amazing view behind them.
