Madison + Brady | Martin Nature Park

March 18th, 2018

Madison and Brady are one of the most laid back couples I’ve ever met. The pair, who have been married for almost six months, were so relaxed around each other. The two are high school sweethearts, which honestly made me “awww” out loud. I have a soft spot for high school sweethearts (even though my husband is not my high school sweetheart!). I love the fact that these two met in high school, fell in love, saw each other through ups and downs that have occurred post high school, and still love each other every day. Now, you can’t tell me there isn’t something special about that!?

We met up at Martin Nature Park, which is stunning around this time of year. This was my first time there and I was in love with the fact that it was family friendly and beautiful. We made our way into a field of the most gorgeous sunset hidden behind the trees. As we began our session, three beautiful deer graced us with their presence as they ran across the field. Now, I’m going to admit that I have never seen any deer up close, so this moment was pretty awesome. The sweetest thing, though, was when one little deer was left looking for his other friends!

As we continued, we were so lucky to get to experience the other forms of wildlife around us. As we were mid session, a rustling could be heard through the bushes. I was positive it was the deer looking for a way to sneak out. However, Brady set off into the bushes to see what the noise was all about. Now, let me stop for a minute to talk a little about Brady. Within the past few months, Madison submitted a casting tape for Brady to appear on Survivor. HOW COOL IS THAT?! So the fact that he went off to find the creature is not surprising at all! To all of our dismay, the noise was only coming from a large rat!

We ended our session in the middle of the field with the most beautiful vine-covered arch walkway. It, combined with the glow of the setting sun, made for a whimsical, and romantic, setting. If you haven’t been out to Martin Nature Park, it’s definitely worth a look – even if only to take a look around. But be sure to bring bug spray!
